Advocating for Equal Marriage in Faith

In 2024 a group of lay and ordained folk from a breadth of theological traditions within the Diocese of Liverpool gathered to consider what we could do advocate for Equal Marriage within the Church of England. Thus was born this group which since then has grown to around 100 members.

We long to see the Church of England bless the marriages of LGBTQIA+ people and will continue to work to see that day arrive. Come and Join us!

We work with Together for the Church of England who are organising for change within the Church

“For us, being able to marry in the Church we love wouldn’t just be a ceremony — it would be a sign that our love belongs fully in the life of God’s people. It would mean being seen, blessed, and celebrated as the family we already are.”
